We are missing being at the Super Summer Knitogether this year. Beth and Jennifer would have been at SSK near Nashville this weekend -- but of course, we are going to have to participate virtually instead.
Be sure to visit the SSK website, check out the other vendors and their videos, and enter the scavenger hunt prize drawing with your collection of secret words!
We have a video on our YouTube channel showcasing a few of our favorite yarns and samples, plus our special show colorway and even some yarns that don't ordinarily make it to shows.
The following samples are shown in our virtual booth video:
Tsukimi by Angela Tong in two colorways of Yowza: Glowing Lantern and Almost Paradise. This is a great one-skein project!
The Scotlander by Casapinka in Rock Sparrow Yowza.
Foxtrot Cardigan by Marie Greene in Foxy Yowza.
Bantam by Deanne Ramsay. Our sample was crocheted in Daguerreotype Yummy 2-Ply and the Carnival Gradient Set.
Festival of Stitches by Lisa Hannes in Havel, Oregon Mist, and Right as Rain Yummy 2-Ply
These two projects use 12 colors: the Perfect Blend shawl designed by Casapinka, knit in our Misty Valley set, and the Great British Baking Shawl by Mary Annarella, knit in the Decadence set.
Berrylicious by Alina Appasova, in the Berrylicious Set.
Katahdin is one of our favorite yarns and it's definitely a showstopper in person! The skeins are 1750 yards and 15.5 ounces - that's right, nearly a mile and nearly a pound of light fingering weight superwash BFL yarn. One skein can make a great variety of projects.
Beach Trip by Lynn Everett, knit in Stonewashed Katahdin
Sempervirens by Veronica Parsons, knit in Sempervirens Katahdin.
Intermission Wrap by Veronica Parsons, knit in Mix Tape and Bougainvillea Katahdin
Tegna by Caitlin Hunter, knit in Slate Katahdin.
Ribbon Dance socks in In the Meadow Putnam; the plain vanilla socks are our free Pedestrian pattern.
Pillowy Cowl (free!) designed by Jennifer Krause in Deep Sea Jellyfish and Sagrada Yowza Minis and Carnelian Moonglow. We have sets for this project.
Love Note sweater, designed by TinCanKnits, knit in Sugar Yummy 2-Ply and Aubergine Moonglow.
Nashville Lights Colorway
Nashville Lights is our special 2020 colorway for the Super Summer Knitogether virtual marketplace. Our colorway this year was inspired by neon at night glowing on Broadway and reflecting off the Cumberland River. The overall effect is pink and purple, with smaller flashes of blue and yellow blurred in.
Every Bit Cowl by Stephanie Lotven in Beryl Kunlun.
Slackline Mitts by Veronica Parsons in Berlin Kunlun.
Dulcinea is really lovely for lace shawls. Featured is Veronica's Morningstar, designed by Boo Knits and knit in Frozen Dulcinea.
Thanks for watching!
