Lace Weight

Yummy 2-Ply

This 2-ply superwash Merino is wonderful for cowls, scarves, shawls, and lightweight sweaters.

Size: 400 yd / 3.9 oz (365m / 110g) skeins
Content: 100% superwash Merino wool
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-9 stitches per inch on US 0-2.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle. This yarn should be dried flat for best results.

 

Yummy 2-Ply Toes

These mini skeins are perfect for colorwork and small projects. This 2-ply superwash Merino is wonderful for cowls, scarves, shawls, and lightweight sweaters.

Size: 133 yd / 1.3 oz (121m / 38g) skeins
Content: 100% superwash Merino wool
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-9 stitches per inch on US 0-2.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle. This yarn should be dried flat for best results.

 

Putnam

With a 4-ply construction, Putnam is round and smooth, with the right elasticity and density for socks. Putnam has a smooth matte finish that will show off all your careful stitching.

Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-9 stitches per inch on US 1-3.

Caroline

Caroline is lusciously soft, blending super fine merino wool with cashmere and nylon. This fingering weight yarn has a 2-ply construction and works up into a balanced fabric with a graceful halo. You’ll love Caroline in textured or lacy accessories like shawls, cowls, hand warmers, and hats (but Caroline is not suitable for socks).

Content: 70% 19.5 micron superwash Merino wool, 20% cashmere, 10% nylon.

Tarte

Tarte is smooth and round, with a balanced 4-ply construction. Nylon and Tencel add strength, sheen, and drape to the superwash Merino in this yarn. Tarte is a beautiful choice for many fingering weight projects, including shawlettes and sweaters where you'll enjoy the generous yardage in each skein. It's also great for socks where you'll enjoy its strength and smoothness.

Sojourn

Our most luxurious blend of cashmere and silk, Sojourn is incredibly soft, with a bit of a sheen and halo. This fingering weight yarn will be lovely in your most special projects.

Size: 200 yd / 1.6 oz (183m / 45g) skeins
Content: 65% cashmere, 35% silk.
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-8 stitches per inch on US 1-3, variable in lace knitting.
Care Instructions: Hand wash, dry flat.

 

Katahdin

Our light fingering weight yarn is perfect for fine gauge sweaters and large shawls. Katahdin weighs in at 1750 yards and 14 ounces, making it our largest skein to date. It can be knit at a heavy laceweight or light fingering gauge and is 100% Bluefaced Leicester wool. BFL is a perfect canvas for Babs’ colors, giving the yarn a rich depth and slightly glossy finish.

Avon

Avon is a light fingering weight blend of fine Merino wool and silk that will flow smoothly through your hands for beautiful accessory and garment projects. Avon is a slightly finer yarn than our Yummy 2-Ply, and is soft with a gentle sheen from the silk. Avon is not a superwash yarn.

Content: 85% 19.5 micron Merino wool, 15% silk
Gauge: Light fingering weight. 8-10 stitches per inch knit on US 0-2, 7-8 stitches per inch crocheted on US A-D.

Estrellita

Estrellita is a fun choice for glam socks and shawls, with a flash of sparkle running throughout the skein! The Lurex is a silver-colored ply carried alongside the superwash Merino.

Content: 92% superwash Merino wool, 8% Lurex
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-8 stitches per inch on US 0-2.

 

Damask

Damask is a flowing, lightweight blend of silk and linen, perfect for summer tops and accessories. The silk is sleek and smooth, punctuated by the less uniform linen fibers. The yarn has a 4-ply construction to create a balanced fabric. Like all yarns with this fiber content, Damask has very little memory or bounce, but excellent drape.

Our colorways will appear different on Damask than on our wool yarns - the dyes we use are only taken up by the silk, not the linen, giving the yarn a softly heathered appearance.

Holston

Sleek and glossy, Holston brings together the best of silk and Bluefaced Leicester wool. This fingering weight yarn takes color beautifully and will shine in lacy projects as well as accessories and garments that require excellent drape.

Content: 51% Cultivated Silk, 49% Bluefaced Leicester Wool
Gauge: Fingering weight. 7-8 stitches per inch knit on US 1-3, 6-8 stitches per inch crocheted on US B-E.

Neon Tweed

Highlight your stitches! Neon Tweed is a fingering weight yarn with bright pops of blacklight reactive neon. The neon neps are yellow, orange, green, and pink.

Sport Weight

Laurel Falls

Laurel Falls is a sport weight yarn created with soft American Shaniko Merino wool. With a matte finish and a lofty, round 3-ply construction, we think Laurel Falls is a great choice for sport weight sweaters and accessories. This yarn will work well in a variety of textured stitches as well as colorwork.

Content: 100% superwash Shaniko Merino wool
Gauge: Sport weight. 5-7 stitches per inch knit on US 3-5, 4-5 stitches per inch crocheted on US E-G.

DK Weight

Yowza! 

You’ll be saying “Yowza! These skeins are BIG!” too when you see this yarn. Yowza is perfect for sweaters, baby items, and snuggly shawls and wraps. Yowza has a smooth and soft hand that works well for textured stitching.

Content: 100% superwash Merino wool
Gauge: Light worsted weight. 4.5-5.5 stitches per inch on US 6-8.
Care Instructions: Machine wash gentle. This yarn should be dried flat for best results.

 

Yowza Minis 

200-yard "mini" skeins of our flagship yarn, Yowza.

Plied from soft superwash Merino wool, Yowza is excellent for sweaters, accessories, and baby items. Yowza has a smooth hand that works well for textured stitching.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that these 200-yard skeins will match regular skeins of Yowza in the same colorway.

Killington

Killington is a lofty DK weight blend of Polwarth wool and Tussah silk. It has a subtle sheen, a slightly crisp hand, and excellent yardage.

Content: 85% Polwarth wool, 15% Tussah silk.
Gauge: DK weight. 5.25-6 stitches per inch on US 5-7.

Worsted Weight 

Intrepid

Intrepid is the non-superwash worsted weight yarn we’ve been searching for. It is an all-American yarn, from the Targhee sheep, to the processing, to the dyeing. Targhee wool has a great bouncy liveliness while still being soft. Intrepid is a classic 3-ply worsted weight with a lot of body, perfect for warm and cozy textures in sweaters, hats, and more.

Size: 280 yd / 4 oz (255m / 115g) skeins
Content: 100% Targhee wool
Gauge: Worsted weight. 4-5 stitches per inch knit on US 7-9, 3-4 stitches per inch crocheted on US I-K.

Cupcake

Add a little sprinkle of fun with this yarn! Cupcake is a classic round and bouncy 3-ply worsted weight yarn with a tweedy twist - multicolored pops of acrylic slub are blended in with the superwash Merino wool for a little extra color. Cupcake is a seasonal offering.

Big Silk

Big and luxurious, Big Silk combines the bounce and warmth of Merino wool with the shine and drape of cultivated silk. The generous yardage means Big Silk is great for big cowls, shawls, and scarves - one skein is enough for most worsted-weight accessory projects.

Bulky Weight

K2

K2 is a bouncy chunky yarn that will work beautifully for large-scale accessories. It knits up fast and warm, soft but still substantial, with a brilliant depth of color. The 3-ply construction is very round and gives balanced sharp stitch definition.

Size: Now 120 yd / 4 oz (110m / 113g) skeins - was 240 yd / 7.2 oz (219m / 205g) skeins - double-check your yardage required in patterns.
