Encinitas Top

Designed by Irina Anikeeva as part of the Vernal pattern collection

It’s not wrong to say that cables are one of my favorite stitch pattern types, and I strongly believe that you may incorporate them even in your warm weather knits. For Encinitas I used the simplest cable rope pattern, combined with columns of eyelets for extra airiness. The body of the top is worked in the round from the bottom up in stockinette stitch with a gradual introduction of the cable-and-lace to create the visual interest and architectural look of this humble tee.

Sample Yarn and Colorway:

Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Killington in the Field Mouse colorway.

What You'll Need:

You'll need 2-3 skeins of Killington, depending on your size, to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color!
