Fuchsia Nouveau-Petit

The Art Nouveau style has always been one of Romi's very very favorites. When she set out to design this shawl, she had a lovely two color garden fuchsia as my inspiration. Then her mind took over, and without consciously realizing it, Romi channeled the Art Nouveau and Deco aesthetic in the books she had been perusing of late. The leaf motifs create the shape of a fuchsia flower in a semi-circle, draping across your shoulders delicately.

Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Tarte in the Old Gold colorway.
