Herald is a simple and stunning shawl with bias construction, garter stitch and eyelets. This pattern is adjustable to any yardage. Starting with just one stitch, Herald is knitted diagonally with increases on one side and decreases on the other. Its slightly asymmetric triangle shape is fun to knit and the result is a versatile and wearable shawl that adds a touch of je ne sais quoi to any outfit. This pattern was originally designed for fingering weight yarn, but we love to upsize patterns to Yowza!
