Hint of the Highlands
Designed by Michael Harrigan
The two main Fair Isle patterns call to mind the Scottish Highlands – providing a hint of tartan and argyle patterning. The double-wrap cowl is knit in the round, from the bottom up, and, as only two colors are used in any round and there are no long floats, it makes for a relatively easy yet interesting project.
Sample Yarn and Colorway:
Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply Toes in Rhizome (Color A), Stippleback (Color B), Sadalmelik (Color C), and Bullfinch (Color D).
What You'll Need:
You'll need four skeins of Yummy 2-Ply Toes to complete this project. Choose the original colorways below − or try some others!
