Metamorphose

Designed by Lucy Hague for the 2016 Knitting Tour

The slowly morphing cabled lines of this cowl/infinity scarf were inspired by the work of Dutch artist M. C. Escher, and his artistic experiments with tessellating patterns and negative space. This piece is worked in the round as a seamless tube, then grafted with a half-twist to form a Möbius-type strip.

Sample Yarn and Colorway:

Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Killington in the Escher colorway.

What You'll Need:

You'll need one skein of Killington to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color!
