Nidelva

Nidelva is a top-down seamless yoke sweater that is knit in the round and has been inspired by the Norwegian sweaters of the Setesdal region, which are the iconic sweaters most often associated with Norwegian knitting. The sweaters in this region feature a sequence of large and small patterns separated by double lines around the neck, shoulders and hem, and in between these bold motifs, the sweater is covered with little dots.
Sample Yarn and Colorway:
Our sample was knit in Miss Babs Yowza in White Peppercorn as the contrast, with a shifting background of the colors Focus, Solitude, Dusk, Fortify, Awaken, Harmonize, and Rejuvenate, all in Yowza Minis.
What You'll Need:
You'll need one skein of Yowza in the contrast color and 7-9 Yowza Minis in the background colors (or 2-4 full skeins of Yowza if you want to work it in two colors only) to complete this project. Choose the original colorway below − or try another color combination!
