Wood Wide Web

Designed by Helen Cosgrove-Davies

Wood Wide Web (named for the invisible network of fungi that connects trees and leafy plants) is provisionally cast on, then the first edging is worked from the center to the edge. The live stitches are picked back up and the body of the shawl is knit before finishing with the second edge. This ensures the two leafy edges are exact mirror images of each other, and no grafting is required!
