Zinnia Stripes

The length of this scarf is warped in Yummy 2-Ply colors including a clear cool pink, grape, coral, lilac, and a speckle with some hints of sunny yellow and hot pink. The weaving was done in a wild iris purpley-pink. There are assorted glass beads in shades of pink, and pale all along this scarf, adding a little glint and drape. The multi-hued twisted fringe was finished at an angle for interest and movement. Measuring 10x74” with angled twisted fringe that ranges from 5-7 inches on both ends.

Each Loop is created by hand on a rigid heddle loom using a variety of yarns, hand-dyed at Miss Babs. When I’m planning, weaving, and finishing, my goal is to create something unique, wearable and that brings a smile to your face! I weave almost every day, and I especially love to weave outside - a loom with a view! I’m inspired by the colors I see, and combining colors is endlessly fascinating.
