Solene Cowl - PDF Knitting Pattern

This lacy two-color cowl is knit in a long tube that is then grafted together to form a double-thick fabric that’s sure to trap air and keep you warm and cozy! Simple vine lace lets a contrast color lining peek through for a reversible look.

1 skein each of 2 colors, shown in Aubergine and Oyster

Or approximately 200 yards/183 meters of fingering weight yarn in each of two contrasting colors, one light and one dark.

Needles
US 3 3.25 mm circular needles, 16”/40 cm, or size to obtain gauge
Spare 16”/40 cm circular needle, size US 3 3.25 mm or smaller, for grafting

Gauge
Blocked: 24 stitches and 36 rounds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch.

Gauge is not crucial for this project, but will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.
